ART A Reasonable Truth Releases “GHOST” Music Video and Enjoys the GRAMMYs and Golden Globe Networking Parties

Hollywood Smollywood. Events are all around SoCal during big events such as the 80th Golden Globes pre-party and the 65th Grammy’s celebration for people the weekend or night before the awards take place and this year, Anthony “Rory” Tran, also known as ART A Reasonable Truth, got some invites through networks in the industry where red (and gold) carpets, Step and Repeat photo shoots, and VIP celebrations are at the forefront.

Tran’s Grammy’s fit 2023.

While still very much an independent artist, the legend himself is building through new connections now that the pandemic is easing up on the world. Trippy Tran celebrates his birthday later this week and is going to be performing a small set at the 2HotRadio Super Bowl party in Arizona next Sunday on February 12th as he prepares his sophomore album release. There’s so much more in store and we will be releasing the behind the scenes segment known as Music Beyond of the “Ghost” single including footage of ART in the studio, shooting the music video, interviews and more.

Anthony Rory Tran, Francesca Esker, Jason Jordan at the 80th Golden Globes pre-party hosted by Social Mix LA.

This past Friday on 2/3/23, ART A Reasonable Truth premiered the music video to the new song “Ghost” showcasing an eerie cinematic performance piece that borderlines a phantom/Joker, wistfulness, ghosting (or being ghosted) and cold feelings in the world. The crazy thing is he even got ghosted on receiving photos from the original shoot and was put in the position to edit the video himself since the team he won the contest for lacked communication and gave the run around on its initial release that was slated for Halloween – on which the song did come out on.

“Ghost” music video promo still by ART A Reasonable Truth.

The climate of the world proves that people can still be very much a representation of Truth’s lyrics as people on social media still play the “follow me and I’ll unfollow you back” mentality in the Hollywood environment. That may prove beyond just a city as humanity feeds itself the social media game. Nonetheless, as Sasha Colby and Luxx Noir London (RuPaul’s Drag Race season 15 stars) told him the other night at the Meet and Greet in WeHo, remember why your doing what you’re doing and don’t let anyone’s opinions try and define you.

Where Has Anthony “Rory” Tran Been? “GHOST” Is Alternative Pop at Its Finest.

Trippy Tran Films strives to create inspirational, moving and original content. So where has the owner Anthony “Rory” Tran been this last year?

New song “Ghost” from upcoming sophomore album. (Listen below!)

Watch the new lyric video to “GHOST”.

At the beginning of 2022, Tran continued doing Office PA work and ended up help prep and wrap the Squarespace Super Bowl commercial starring Zendaya (HBO’s “Euphoria) and André 3000 from Outkast, directed by Edgar Wright (Baby Driver, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World). Funny enough, the teams who went to Super Bowl LVI (56) were the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams – so his hometown (Cincy) battled it out with where he’s resided for the last 8 1/2 years (L.A.)

“GHOST” now on all major music streaming platforms! Add to your IG or facebook story.

At 21 million views, one of Tran’s biggest accomplishments so far.

Since handing Edgar Wright his storyboards and coffee that day, he had been non-stop working in the commercial world up until his trip back to Ohio where the teams he worked for were working more remote, though, once you’re working commercials, it’s hard to get to the film and TV side.

Just recently, ATran has been working as a PA on a TV show for EarthxTV that resumes filming mid-November, though all these jobs haven’t stopped him from creating. In sound design is the much-anticipated full-length Trippy Tran Films movie Obliquity: Imagery of the Unknown and is looking to hopefully enter film festivals fall 2023. ART A Reasonable Truth’s sophomore album is being worked on and the first single just released yesterday on Halloween in time for spooky season called “Ghost” with a music video to arrive sometime this month.

New single “Ghost” with visualizer.

You can download “Ghost” at http://areasonabletruth.bandcamp.com which includes also the instrumental and a capella as it gets ready to hit all major streaming platforms sometime this week.

Some reviews from listeners of “Ghost”.

The IDGA$ Talk Show, sketch comedies, final episode of Choices: An Interactive Story “Twisted Fates” are all still looking to also come out early 2023. There’s also plans for our 10th short film, a slasher along the lines of Scream but with an original spin, the InPersonNation sequel, and new music videos are in pre-production.

Shout out to Zackary Arthur who stars in Chucky alongside Devon Sawa. Anthony Rory Tran was a camera operator and worked with Zackary Arthur on “PALS” in 2016.

The Tran Man is also on a new podcast The Business Revolution to come out soon and is working to expand Trippy Tran Films, LLC so in 5 years or less, the goal is for him to be directing big budget Hollywood movies also.

Our services include weddings, commercials, photography and film making, recording sessions, voice over work, video editing and in partner with Lexico Fashion, wardrobe.

Trippy Tran Films recorded and mixed “My Butt” OTF for client Jeremiah.
Trippy helped prep/wrap this spot for Call of Duty starring Pete Davidson.

(W)Rapper Music Video by ART A Reasonable Truth Includes Over 60 People Proving They Aren’t Rappers

The hip-hop contemporary rap jam #notawrapper was created in 2020 before the global pandemic and has been called Trippy T aka ART A Reasonable Truth’s best song yet as it includes heavy bass, a catchy chorus and a play on words with lyrics about being both a rapper and a wrapper.

The music video just dropped today, which features over 60 people showing some of their own talents from breakdancing, stripping, spinning fire, plus a lot more fun surprises. Just make sure to blast the bass while listening.

The music video, takes it to a whole new level, featuring talents from Los Angeles to Cincinnati, OH and beyond and it actually features some talented rappers like Kevy G, Adam Glevicky and Anthony Catanzarite who show their support for Anthony “Rory” Tran’s latest single. A sexy maid, a dojo stick spinner, poi spinning, goths, grandma, a gift for yo mama and more are all included in this colorful compilation as Truth’s style is shown with a hot red Honda R-Type car.

Anthony T. Tran has been working in Hollywood a lot more this year which included projects to help with Willow, Dua Lipa, Christopher Mintz-Plasse from Superbad, and many more talents and commercial work.

With the surge of Covid-19 and the new Delta Variant virus, it has been hard to want to update or showcase all the hard work that’s been happening behind the scenes. Trippy Tran Films has a lot more projects coming up and hope that we will be able to share them sooner than later. Keep it locked in with all of our projects at the links below.

New Song “I’ll Risk It All (feat. ART A Reasonable Truth)” Discusses Feelings in Isolation by Sonanze

It was winter 2012 in Cincinnati, Ohio the days that dynamic duo on several music tracks Sonanze and ART A Reasonable Truth (originally Trippy T) would get together and record music in a basement with instrumentals that Ukrainian talent Mikhail Sinenko would make with Anthony “Rory” Tran, including score music for Tran’s debut full-length film Obliquity: Imagery of the Unknown. With a Europop-type vibe on most tracks as well as orchestral sounding tunes, the two finally got together to collaborate on a song.

Sonanze (Sinenko) would make the sounds and even wrote verses lyrically to the previously unreleased demo “I’ll Risk It All” while ART (Tran) wrote the chorus and performed some of the raps already written for him. Together, they created the song that fits even moreso into today’s world while many people are in isolation, unable to do normal every day things due to the worldwide coronavirus pandemic we are dealing with: COVID-19 and how it feels to want that human connection of a love that’s waiting for us to find.

Being in quarantine makes us long for more of a human connection and even though many of us cannot create with a team like we used to, we all hope to build greater connections when free of this situation.

ART A Reasonable Truth’s current discography at areasonabletruth.bandcamp.com below includes exclusive releases.

You can hear more of Sonanze on soundcloud as well as ART A Reasonable Truth on most major music platforms with his debut album Centerpiece, where Sonanze also created the instrumentals for the tracks “Get Down With It!”, “IDGA$” and “Jubilant Soul”. ART hopes to finish his original first album with 21 tracks almost all conceptualized that Sonanze created the music for entirely himself. They were in their early 20’s when this project began.

YouTube premiered it as well as the areasonabletruth.bandcamp.com page exclusively and the lyrics can be found at both.

Stream/Buy at http://Artmusic.fanlink.to/WRapper

Music can be hit or miss nowadays, especially in mainstream media, but there is a lot going on in the underground side that most people wouldn’t even know where to look to find hidden gems and hits.

Well look no further, Centerpiece artist ART A Reasonable Truth has teamed up with 7Fifty7 and Ravyyyy (as well as the Rory Man’s other artist name: Trippy T aka Tripp T) to make a bass banging catchy, yet fun – and funny at times – banger called “(W)Rapper”.

The last studio session to wrap the “(W)Rapper” song.

The track started after ART (Anthony “Rory” Tran) helped Frankie Mir and 7Fifty7 on the music video “Highway75” as part cinematographer and co-producer on an all night shoot. See that video below.

So whether you’re not a rapper or a “wrapper” wrapping gifts to yo mama – turn up the bass, get ready to start rapping and singing along as the new single from The Recipe artist celebrates his 32nd Birthday on the red carpet.

Tran will be media for the Gala event at Universal Studios for the Academy Awards event today. Tickets are now $1,000 to attend. He will be taking photos and videos with several others and will be submitting over 200 photos for the Hollywood stars event.

What do you think of the new song? Comment below and also, make sure to check out his debut album on all major music platforms at Artmusic.fanlink.to/Truth and areasonabletruth.bandcamp.com

Lyrics: What we gonna do – the original way?
Why we getting country in this bitch?

Y’all gloating about what you can do alright
Need to humble yourself and tell the truth alright
Tell me what you can but what you can’t do
What are you not gonna do?
I’m ready!

Hook:

I’m not a rapper / Not a wrap, not a rap, not a wrapper

The only thing I’ve wrapped was a Christmas present
The only thing I wrapped was a condom
The only thing I wrapped was my friend’s Honda
The only thing I wrapped was a gift for yo mama
I go Amber Rose got no top in the summer
Stuck in L.A. traffic but my life is not a bummer
I’ve been getting smarter but my watch is getting dumber
But my watch is getting dumber
Nanananana
Yeayeayeayeayea!

Where will I go
All stops on these hoes
Making them blow
Because I’m So official
Watching them bow
No stopping us now
Wearing the crown
While Dancing on clouds

Rocking every day like my name is Superbass
Making my own rules every time I get up in the place
In search of morality
It’s a formality
Staying true and free
That’s why they come for me
Your disability
I cross the Seven seas
Keep on sharing the peace
That’s the way I wanna be

The only thing I’ve wrapped was principle photography
The only thing I’ve wrapped was a – bar on this bitch..
Get it because yea.. I’m a rapper!

Hook – Repeats

Candy coated bars
Tell me how bizarre
Mission from afar
In your speakers to the stars

What what

Yeahyeahyeahyeah!! x3

Twisted Fates Episode 2 of ‘Choices – An Interactive Story’ is Free To Play

Tired of just binge-watching? Want something different to try in our phone-y kind of era?

Requires mobile device with YouTube app or a computer web browser to access choices. Please click on title to take you to the app or browser.

The choose-your-own-adventure style video story game has made its way back to YouTube with the thrilling episode 2 of Twisted Fates from the Choices – An Interactive Story series and improves on the criticisms of the first episode by providing a more linear experience and making things a bit darker all while being a unique experience to choose and respond to situations. #ChoicesTF

JD is played by Mario Mendez in Twisted Fates – Episode 2.

Tiffany Rios plays Kate.

The story continues after Kate (Tiffany Rios) is beaten by her alcoholic boyfriend Ian (Charlie Harris, QK-Hilltop, Denizen) and finds hope in his best friend JD (Mario Mendez) before moving in with him. Now a couple, Ian stalks them as his brother Blake Slater (Anthony Rory Tran) tries to help him realize his mistakes in the new webisode experience “Restraining Order”.

If you haven’t played the first episode, try it, but expect several dead ends until you make the right path. Spoiler alert: Optimism only leads to a Bonus choice which showcases behind the scenes and interviews and concludes with a base ending as the Pessimistic path leads you to a possible fight between JD and Ian before you get a Truth or Lie ending that takes you to the first set of credits. That’s when you know you completed it correctly and finished episode 1 the “right way”.

Episode 1 choice map revealed!

Episode 2 of Twisted Fates does not allow dead ends and the reason is because we want you to see all the possibilities and changes.

Episode 1 was written as a short film, almost Quentin Tarantino-esque where we see a man in jail who reflects on what led him there as his best friend drives him back home. During the drive, everything that happened before the arrest is showcased in small doses until the very end when they are driving again – showing that this is where they’ve been the whole time. So yes, it makes the story somewhat hard to follow since the script for episode 1 (written by Mario Mendez and Charlie Harris) came off a bit pretentious and details were not ironed out or developed.
As director, I came on before the shoot with the idea of a choose-your-path video series in May 2017 – making that episode entirely experimental. We wanted to add more depth to the characters after the February (2019) release this year with added scenes, but with scheduling conflicts and people on the team, including Escape West Films who gave up on the project after writing episodes 2 and 3 and then gave me the project, I took it into my own hands as director, producer and editor and even wrote in scenes for eps 2 and 3 before we filmed to achieve an even more unique and fun choice-based story game “sequel”. Twisted Fates episode 2 does just that and will take you on an unforgettable eerie ride.
– Anthony T. Tran

The first episode tackled domestic violence and now, this “stalker” episode puts the experience at a brand new level. There will be fights, chaotic moments like when Ian threatens JD while working on his car, and even a cliff hanger that will lead to the final third act episode that will tackle gun violence. Almost a year after the release of the first episode, we finally get to continue with a story game that has meaning more than your average programming thanks to our team at Trippy Tran Films including voice over work by Miss Brazil, Francesca Esker. Whichever choice you make will change scenes, dialogue, find a TV bonus and lead to various situations.

It seems that these story games are becoming more popular with the release of Bandersnatch last year and Ecko’s new series Scroll Wheel of Time which features Anthony Rory Tran in a retro scene as a background actor, and others like Swipe Night.

Tran says after these episodes conclude Twisted Fates, that they will be diving into a new series of Choices – An Interactive Story that he will write and make the episodes longer and more fulfilling. Twisted Fates is planned on being released as a complete short film with all 3 episodes together and will take out the choice aspect to be watched as a full commentary piece on issues not commonly put in widespread media. Make your choices now and comment which paths you’ve discovered and what you hope for a new choice-based video series. As always, please connect with us and all our projects for updates.

You are the director. You tell the story. One choice can make all the difference.

Trippy Tran Films Working On Several New Projects for 2020 Release

The imaginative indie film company Trippy Tran Films is planning several new shorts, skits, a talk show and music videos for ART A Reasonable Truth. Most of the hard work is slated for a 2020 release and is further opening its doors to expand collaboration and artist promotion.

Hosting weekly meetings in Los Angeles, the team has expanded and reached out to several working people in the industry. Director, producer and content creator Anthony T. Tran (aka Anthony Rory Tran) has been working in Hollywood as a background actor and production assistant which has opened new doors for future collaborations.

With the recent re-release of the trippy government thriller, QK-Hilltop – which is based on real experiments in the 1950’s following MK-Ultra – the movie now has an official poster and you can watch it until the end of the year for free here.

Mind control experiments in the 1950’s could still be active today. Make your own conclusion after watching Trippy Tran Films’ latest QK-HILLTOP. For the spooky season, watch for a limited time.

So what about this talk show? Real news has fallen into propaganda and reality-style television and it seems nobody wants to talk real truth in the media. The IDGA$ Talk Show @idgas_talk_show is on TikTok and Instagram as of now promoting old skits and new including PocaHeyHey, contest entries that are funny and original, Titney Spears and more.

The first 3 episodes were taped last weekend in Burbank with more planning every weekend so that the first season can release every week also.

Short films in the works include the stand-alone impersonator sequel to InPersonNation as well as new horror and rom-com our sources reveal.

And of course, ART A Reasonable Truth is Anthony Rory Tran’s artist name who has been planning at least 2 more music videos including the theme to the talk show IDGA$ and the club banger Get Down With It! – as part of his concept album Centerpiece.

Also, episode 2 of Twisted Fates from Choices – An Interactive Story #ChoicesTF is being edited and looking to release by end of November.

Updates may have been lacking, but we assure you a lot of great things are in motion and a lot of new faces are going to be involved in upcoming projects. Be sure to subscribe to all the YouTube channels also on IG and facebook:

Music Beyond and Non-Profit Work from ART A Reasonable Truth

It’s almost the one year anniversary of the oceanic beach jam “SoCal Waves” by ART A Reasonable Truth, and the film maker turned singer/rapper has since released the earworm hip-pop jam “The Recipe ft. Ayem”. His debut in music started in 2008 with the song “Within” from the Duality movie where he went by artist name Tripp T/Trippy T before others tried to claim the same name.

Now with the release of the Music Beyond interview, we get full insight on the making of the video, as well as what’s next in the realm of Anthony ‘Rory’ Tran.

He doesn’t stop there. Working with the non-profit Hamlet For The Homeless on several occasions (to help homeless and foster youth learn theatre and film production with housing, donate today), he has spoken to help raise money and awareness for the ongoing southern California crisis.

Recently, he has also been featured background on Santa Clarita Diet and The Goldbergs, with appearances on upcoming shows like Mr. Iglesias, Lucifer and could be on shows like Euphoria, Ballers, a Facebook commercial and more. He was also audience on The 5th Annual Red Nose Charity Event for Walgreens featuring John Legend, Terry Crews and Julia Roberts. He did P.A. work last year on Love and Listings for VH1 and continues to make skits, vlogs and more on all his channels.

A lot has been going on in the world of Tran and this is all just leading to what he wants to do with his short films and music video projects.
